Middle School students are encouraged to get involved in a variety of activities, many of which involve community service, and all of which allow them to explore and develop their individual talents and interests. Anyone in grades 6-8 can join Builders Club, and a focal point of Walden’s chapter is regular visits to the Four Courts Retirement Center, where students socialize and develop bonds with the residents. Participation helps develop leadership qualities and broaden their perspective through various service opportunities. Builders Club also runs fundraisers at Walden such as the Cupid Grams. Other activities enhance social skills, encourage analytic thinking and technical skills, or just help students stay busy and fit…activities like Chess Club, which offers two levels of competitive participation, and Computer Club, Quick Recall Team, Weightlifting Club, Pep Band and more. Middle School students are enthusiastic participants in acting and theater programs as well. Learn more about Walden Middle School: Learn more about other Walden Schools: |
