Key Club Play and Picnic



Recently Walden's Key Club hosted a picnic for some of the children from Wayside Christian Mission’s Child Development Center. Food, fun and a truly great time were had by all.

MIDDLE SCHOOL READING LISTS

The 7th and 8th grades classes have required reading over the summer. Students please open the 7th or 8th grade required reading list and follow the directions.

The 5th and 6th grades have a suggested reading list and book review form to complete. All students are encouraged to read as much as possible over the summer.

Walden Book Clubs

MIDDLE SCHOOL
BACK TO SCHOOL BOOK CLUB

There will be a BOOK CLUB in the Library sometime in September TBA. The featured book will be FLUSH by Carl Hiaasen (5th Grade reading level). Limited books available in the library for $6.00, see Mrs. Sewell.

LOWER SCHOOL
BACK TO SCHOOL BOOK CLUB

The featured book will be The Lorax by Dr.Seuss. The Book Club will meet with Mrs. Sewell in the Library sometime in September TBA.

The 2008 Walden Prom was held April 18th at the Louisville Water Tower. The effort that the senior class put into the event certainly showed--it was a beautiful night! Everyone had a wonderful time. Thanks to all the teachers who chaperoned, the parents who helped out, and everyone who attended.
