Walden School Auction-Saturday, May 17, 2008 Auction “Launch” Information: The Walden Auction, a premier social and fund-raising event now in its 19th year, has earned an average of $75,000 a year for the last five years. The evening begins with a cocktail reception served among hundreds of items displayed for the silent auction. A gourmet dinner will be followed by the live auction and a raffle drawing for a $5000 first prize. Launch Pad: Louisville Executive Aviation’s Hangar at Bowman Field. Tickets—$75.00 per person or $600 for a table of eight. Here’s how: Attend event with friends, relatives, or business associates. Volunteer to join the auction committee, meet new friends and have fun planning this event. You could help with advertising, acquisitions, invitations, decorations, or assist with set up on the day of the event. Donate items, offer services of a special talent, contact businesses you frequent, or create a special one-of-a-kind item. Raffle Tickets may be sold to family, friends, business associates or use as a holiday gift or thank you. Tickets sell for $10 each for a chance of a $5000 grand prize.
