What a fantastic start to the year! We are working our way through unit one in math with a review of concepts we learned in second gr **Click Here For Science Homework and Updates!**
Couple of things that third grade parents need to know:
· Third graders are allowed to come to their classrooms in the morning around 7:50. We really utilize every minute of our busy day and ask if at all possible that you bring your child to school by that time.
· Your child will be bringing home lots of information so please be sure to check their yellow folder for papers. Their binders will be their take-home folder. They have two folders in our binder along with our planner that we use to write down our homework each day.
· We ask that parents sign the planner each night. Thanks for all your support and let’s have a wonderful third grade year!
PARENTS:
As third graders, it is extremely important for your child to turn in quality work, so that they can be proud of a job well done. Please encourage the students to spend some quality time on their homework in order to produce work that they are proud of. Also, we ask that you take the time to sign their planner each night.
We have also talked a great deal about responsibility and how in third grade the students are responsible for getting their homework done and getting it back to school the following day.

ade. The next unit will be addition and subtraction so please be helping your child practice their facts on a regular basis. In spelling we are on unit two that have the vowel-consonant-e pattern. We will soon begin our reading groups and start our author study of Patricia Polacco. She is an incredible writer and illustrator. We appreciate your support and partnership!
