Tyler Ford - and friend Cooper Robertson hiked the Appalachian Trail, a 2,160 mile hike from Maine to Georgia.  He writes "what started in June as a 'fun hike' has developed into a 'mission hike' to raise public awareness and money for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis(ALS), commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.  There is no know cause or cure and death usually occurs within 2 to 5 years.  His father, E.A., was a victim of ALS for 4 years.  Since he was an avid hiker, they are thinking of him and dedicating their hike to his memory."

Laura Ross - lives in Lexington, Kentucky.  She attended Vassar and now works at Rainbow Blossom.  She liked her years at Walden very much.

Cornelius Sterling lll -  lives in Tennessee and received his BS in occupational therapy from Spaulding University.  He now works for Home Bound Medical Systems.  The small classes, individual attention, and the strong peer group relationships here are what made him "what he is today".

Matthew Swyers -  lives in Louisville and is currently attending college and working part-time.   He enjoyed the small student population and the small class size at Walden.

Evan Scearce-  and his wife Miriam welcomed their new son , Evan Dylan Scearce on August 31, 2000. Congratulations!!!!!

Heidi Latella-  attended Capital University, where she recieved BA in Criminology.  Her senior year of college her mother died of lung cancer, and so she decided she was being called to ministry work.  She took off a year and lived with her father in Nashville, TN, then attended Graduate School at Valparaiso University in Indiana.  She studied deaconess ministry in the ECLA Lutheran Church, and received a dual masters in Theology and Human Behavior in May 2001, and am currently in Waupun, Wisconsin doing my Clinical Pastoral Education internship at a Maximum Security State prison.  I work with individual inmates, male and female, as well as lead bible studies and church services. She says Walden has been a family to her and that she wouldn't be where she is if it wasn't for all the people.

Nathan Koprowski - became a police officer in Kentucky in 1998 and stayed in the field until 2002. My wife Svetlana and I were married on October 14, 2000 in Libertyville, IL and are expecting our first child in December 2002. We are currently living in southeastern Wisconsin. I am a BAS security coordinator for a large pharmaceutical company in Chicago. My best memory at Walden was playing soccer there. n_koprowski@hotmail.com
